Kyle Walker offers to pay for England fan to get a tattoo of John Stones

England fans across the country were delighted when John Stones gave the Three Lions an early lead against Panama but it was a bittersweet moment for one supporter.

Stones rose high to head England ahead in the eighth minute and would grab a second shortly before half-time in a dominant 6-1 victory, the country's biggest ever in a World Cup.

However, Manchester City supporter Jess was left red-faced after having made a promise to get a tattoo of the defender if he was to score in the Group G clash.

'If John Stones scores tomorrow I’ll get a tattoo of him,' the young girl wrote on Twitter on Saturday night.

And England defender made sure she wasn't able to get away with it as he replied to the tweet following the game, writing 'I'll pay'.

The response quickly racked up more than 5000 retweets as England supporters urged the fan to go through with her promise.

Whehter she will or not remains to be seen but what is for certain is that Gareth Southgate's men will be taking part in the knockout stages of this summer's tournament.
