Fresh from securing Champions League football for next season, Tottenham will return to North America for their pre-season tour shortly after the World Cup wraps up in July.

Spurs join fellow Premier League sides Manchester United and Liverpool in competing in this year's reiteration of International Champions Cup, scheduled to play in a series of high-profile clashes against Roma, Barcelona and AC Milan.

Tottenham pre-season fixtures

Tottenham's pre-season schedule involves some compelling fixtures, clashing with some of the biggest names in European football.

The first match will see Pochettino face Italian giants Roma at the SDCC stadium in San Diego, California, which hosts 70,000 on July 25. It may be a little late for many UK fans to watch as local kick-off time is 7:05pm, meaning that it takes place at 3:05am in London.

Tottenham will then face La Liga champions Barcelona a few days later in Los Angeles, once again at the undesirable time of 4:05am in the UK (8:05pm local) – though the potential meeting of Lionel Messi and Harry Kane for the first time is sure to be an event not to be missed.

Spurs' final International Champions Cup fixture against AC Milan at the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis – swapping California for the Great Lakes – and will be kinder to fans watching at home as it kicks off 5pm locally and 10pm in the UK.
