Superstar songwriter and singer Dua Lipa has denied that she is in a relationship with Real Madrid midfielder Marco Asensio.
Reports in Turkey, relayed in Spain, suggested that the pair had spent some time together following the Champions League final on May 26, at which the pop star took part in the opening ceremony.
Lipa has moved to quash rumours of a budding romance on her social media, however, claiming that she's never even met the Spain international.
"I haven’t even met Marco Asensio and it is highly unlikely I ever will as my Liverpool supporting manager would never forgive me," her Twitter status reads.
Asensio played just one minute of the final in Kiev, replacing Karim Benzema in the closing stages as Real looked to see out the tie.
The 3-1 victory over Liverpool sealed the capital club's third successive European triumph and their 13th in their history .
