They're childhood sweethearts who met in their hometown of Sunderland and are known for their jet-setting lifestyle.

And Jordan Pickford and his girlfriend Megan Davison couldn't resist packing on the PDA after the news that he landed a spot in England's World Cup squad while holidaying in Barbados on Thursday.

The footballer, 24, and the university graduate, 22, put on a sweet loved-up display as they took a romantic stroll across the idyllic beach.

Walking hand-in-hand, the smitten couple looked happier and more relaxed than ever as they paddled in the Atlantic Ocean.

Jordan cut a casual holiday figure in teal patterned swimming shorts and an oversized grey t-shirt.

The Everton goalkeeper added a stylish gold watch to his look and a pair of oversized black sunglasses.

Meanwhile, Megan cemented her WAG status as she showed off her toned figure in a wild black and leopard print bikini, with a white crochet dress cover-up over the top.

The 22-year-old looked every inch the beach babe as she went make-up free, showing off her flawless sun-kissed complexion, with a pair of pink reflective sunglasses.

She left her blonde locks to dry naturally in a tousled wavy hairdo, with the front strands styled into a French plait.

The couple appeared in good spirits over Jordan's exciting news as Megan could be seen enjoying a delicious-looking drink in a flute glass with the footballer laughing.

And, later on, the blonde beauty couldn't resist taking a dip in the Atlantic Ocean as she whipped off her white crochet dress and showed off her incredible toned abs in the leopard print bikini.

Megan met Jordan - who is confirmed to join England in their World Cup efforts in Russia over the summer - when they were both  at school.

The stunner is clearly very supportive of her sportsman beau, having moved to Liverpool with him following his £30million transfer from Sunderland to Everton last year.

Megan and Jordan regularly enjoy romantic holidays when they can, showing off their sun-soaked trips all over their social media.

Full embracing her WAG lifestyle, Megan's Instagram page is littered with glamorous selfies and plenty of envy-inducing nights out on the town.

With the World Cup looming, Megan may end up rubbing shoulders with some WAG royalty at the football extravaganza, including Rebekah Vardy - married to Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy - and Harry Kane's fiancee Katie Goodland.
