Premier League Betting Tips: Manuel Pellegrini favourite to take over at West Ham United

Paddy Power have installed the former Manchester City manager as the market leader to take over at the Hammers after they parted ways with David Moyes

Manuel Pellegrini is the early favourite to take over at West Ham United after the London side parted company with David Moyes.

The ex-Manchester City manager has been in charge of Hebei China Fortune since 2016 but could be set for a Premier League return after being installed at 8/11 (1.73) by Paddy Power.

Pellegrini led City to the title in his first season at the club and also won two EFL Cups before leaving in June 2016 when the club appointed Pep Guardiola.

Shakhtar Donetsk manager Paulo Fonseca is 2/1 (3.0) to take over at the London Stadium but is also the 5/2 (3.50) second-favourite for the vacant Everton job after Sam Allardyce was fired.

Fonseca has been at the Ukrainian side for two seasons, winning the league and cup double on both occasions to put him on the radar in England.

Rafa Benitez makes a surprising entry at 6/1 (7.0) after leading Newcastle United to Premier League safety, whilst recently departed Paris Saint-Germain manager Unai Emery is 10/1 (11.0).

Claudio Ranieri is available at 14/1 (15.0) and was famously in charge of Leicester City during their incredible title-winning season of 2015/16 but is now at Ligue 1 Nantes, where he has just two wins in his last 14 games after a promising start.

Massimiliano Allegri can be found at 20/1 (21.0), although there is very little to suggest he will leave Juventus after winning a seventh consecutive Serie A title this season.

Marco Silva, Luis Enrique and former Manchester United assistant manager Rui Faria are all also 20/1 (21.0).
