Liverpool star Mohamed Salah jokingly booed by Anfield crowd

This is the moment Liverpool football star Mohamed Salah briefly went from hero to zero as he was jokingly booed by supporters for tackling his daughter.

The Egyptian, 25, was celebrating his top scorer award on the pitch at Anfield yesterday when his adorable daughter Makka Mohamed, four, stole the show.

The little girl was cheered by fans as she showed off her skills while her father posed for photos with his new award.

In the hilarious clip, Makka can be seen running around the pitch while the fans loudly cheered.

Every time she kicked a football, a roar went up, with the fans eager to see her skills.

At one point, she ran near her father, who tried to intercept her, before sprinting away again.

Then, she kicks a ball to her father, who doesn't pass it back.

When she tries to get it, her father dodges past her, leading to mock boos from the crowd.

Salah seems stunned and holds his hands up in apology before letting his daughter continue playing with the football.

And as soon as she does, more cheers ring out for her.

Her father later exits the pitch, clapping the fans, while gesturing for someone to presumably watch his daughter.

For her part, Makka seems more than happy to kick the football around and milk the love of her new fans.

Salah married his wife Maggi in 2013. Together they have a daughter named Makka who was born in 2014.

She is named after the holiest city in Islam and was born in Westminster Hospital in south west London.

The footballer also has a brother called Nasr Salah.

Salah has enjoyed an extraordinary first season with Liverpool, winning a number of awards.

He is set to spearhead his team in the Champion's League final on May 26.
