Albert Ferrer: Guard of honour must be made for Barcelona

The concept of the guard of honour has become a controversial one ahead of the weekend's Clasico with Albert Ferrer calling on Real Madrid to make the tribute to Barcelona.
As LaLiga champions, the former defender said that it 'must be done' to honour the title win.
However, as Dani Garcia has pointed out, the Blaugrana failed to make a guard of honour for Madrid's Club World Cup triumph earlier in the season.
"Although Madrid have their arguments for not doing so, Barcelona didn't do it after the Club World Cup," noted Garcia, who played for the Catalans between 1999 and 2003.
Another topic of conversation in Spanish football is whether Real's potential Champions League win would outweigh Barcelona's double, which Ferrer approached cautiously.
"I wouldn't change the two titles for being in the Kiev final, because you can still lose it," he added, with a smile.
"Now, if you assure me that they will win it, then yes, I would."
