Manchester United players Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard took fans behind the scenes at the club's awards on Tuesday night.

Pogba and Lingard were on the same table alongside Antonio Valencia, Daley Blind, Marcus Rashford, Scott McTominay and Marouane Fellaini.

Pogba posted a clip of himself at the awards and zoomed in on team-mate Valencia, who responded with a smile.

While Lingard's video showed himself, players at the table as well as a close-up of a smiling Rashford next to him.

Neither player picked up an award as David de Gea, who has played every minute of United's Premier League campaign so far this season, won the main two prizes at the ceremony.

The goalkeeper picked up the Players' Player of the Year trophy before scooping the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year award, as voted for by fans.

After winning the accolades, De Gea posted a photo with the two gongs on Instagram alongside the caption: 'One more time.... THANKS.'

The night saw players, WAGs and special guests turn out in force at Old Trafford.

De Gea was in attendance alongside popstar girlfriend Edurne Garcia, who represented Spain at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest.

Fellow Spaniard Juan Mata came with wife Evelina Kamph, while Ander Herrera's partner Isabel Collado and Marcos Rojo's partner Eugenia Lusardo donned club colours as they wore red outfits.

Manager Jose Mourinho caused a shock when he presented Scott McTominay with the Manager's Player of the Year award.

Michael Carrick, who was accompanied on the night by wife Lisa, was presented with a special recognition award for his service to United.

Carrick, who will retire from playing to focus on a coaching role this summer, has made more than 300 Premier League appearances for the club.

Mourinho, after presenting Carrick with his award, said: 'A big player is leaving, but a big man is staying.'
