Arsenal and Tottenham fans continue to debate over the existence of a shift in power in north London, but there can be no arguments over the dominant force at Under-18 level after Tuesday's fixture.

The Spurs youth side, managed by former star Scott Parker, humiliated their local rivals with a 9-0 victory to round off their Premier League Under 18 campaign in the finest possible style.

A weakened Arsenal side went in at the break three goals down but a second-half masterclass from Tottenham's 17-year-old whizkid Reo Griffiths saw the final score reach embarrassing levels.

Griffiths, who finishes the campaign as the league's top scorer with 23 goals in 18 games, solidified his position at the top of the charts with four goals in the second-half and also laid on three assists across the 90 minutes.

Rodel Richards and Dilan Markanday also deserves plaudits for grabbing a brace each while Arsenal youngster Mazeed Ogungbo added the ninth by turning the ball into his own net.

The Gunners were significantly weakened after head coach Kwame Ampadu elected to rest several of his regular starlets ahead of their FA Youth Cup final against Chelsea. They play the first of two legs away this Friday before the return fixture on Monday.

They can also take comfort from the fact that they beat Tottenham 6-0 in the reverse fixture earlier this season and have already done enough to finish well ahead of them in the table.

Indeed, with one game left to play, Arsenal have already sealed second place and will be 13 points ahead of their north London rivals if they win their final game against Chelsea, who sit nine points ahead and are already champions.
