All Football Power Rankings of the Week (Apr 24, 2018): Man Utd surpass Juve & Liverpool

Hello again! We organize clubs of Europe's top 5 leagues into an order that reflects the up-to-the-minute hierarchy every Tuesday.

The rankings are a season-long measurement of clubs, tracking teams throughout 2017-18 and taking into account results from all competitions. Our rankings consider advanced stats, full-season play and recent performance with some gut feeling mixed in.

Sides that have lost the fewest games naturally rank higher—though the strength of opposition met in a loss is considered—and both UEFA Champions/Europa League form and presence are used as tiebreakers for those with similar records. Teams that gather big wins against strong opponents get a boost.

10. Arsenal

Arsene Wenger's Arsenal farewell started in the perfect manner as the Gunners scored three goals in seven second-half minutes to ease to victory against West Ham at the Emirates.

9. PSG

PSG are on course to close out their Ligue 1 campaign with 100 points following Sunday's 1-0 win over Bordeaux.

8. Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid warmed up for Thursday's Europa League semi-final first leg with Arsenal with a La Liga draw with Real Betis. The result means Barcelona only need a draw against Deportivo La Coruna next Sunday to win La Liga.

7. Liverpool

Liverpool were held to 2-2 draw by West Brom before Champions League semi-final first-leg clash against Roma.

6. Juventus

Juventus' advantage at the top of the Serie A table was cut to 1 point as they were beaten 1-0 by Napoli & held to a surprise draw by struggling Crotone.

5. Manchester United

Ander Herrera's winner sent Manchester United into a record-equalling 20th FA Cup final and condemned Tottenham to their eighth successive defeat at this stage of the competition. And they beat Bournemouth 2-0 in midweek.

4. Manchester City

Manchester City were given a guard of honour and there were celebrations at full-time in their first match since their third league title in seven seasons was confirmed. Thousands of fans invaded the pitch as Guardiola's side emphatically ended a run of three successive home defeats by thrashing Swansea 5-0.

3. Real Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo's 42nd goal of the season prevented Real Madrid from suffering a second successive defeat at the Bernabeu before UCL semi-final clash against Bayern.

2. Barcelona

Luis Suarez scored two goals as Barcelona produced a masterclass to beat Sevilla and win the Copa del Rey final for the fourth successive season. And they only need 1 point in La Liga to secure title.

1. Bayern Munich

Robert Lewandowski scored his 39th goal of the season as Champions League semi-finalists Bayern Munich beat Hannover before meeting Real Madrid on Wednesday.

Points for each team are based on All Football Power Rankings System. Feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments section. See you next week!
