Atletico Madrid open talks with Aston Villa for Jordan Amavi

Spanish side Atletico Madrid have opened talks with Championship outfit Aston Villa for French left-back Jordan Amavi, according to L’Équipe.

The 23-year-old is set to depart from the Midlands side this summer, and Atleti are seeking to replace Theo Hernandez who appears poised to join Real Madrid when the transfer window opens.

Napoli, who are preparing for the possible departure of Faouzi Ghoulam, are also interested in the former OGC Nice defender.
