Marseille booked their place in the final four of the Europa League in dramatic fashion on Thursday night as they edged past RB Leipzig after a thrilling second-leg lit up by Dimitri Payet.
The former West Ham star claimed an assist before scoring his side's decisive fourth goal with a fine piece of individual brilliance.
Leipzig led 1-0 from the first leg and the German side appeared to be in total control after Bruma found the net after just two minutes in France to make it 2-0 on aggregate.
Bruma's away goal meant that Marseille needed to score three to progress and they got them all before half time.
Stefan Ilsanker put through his own net before Bouna Sarr and Florian Thauvin completed the turnaround.
Leipzig were briefly back ahead courtesy of the away goals rule when Jean-Kevin Augustin fired home 11 minutes into the second half before placing his finger to his lips to hush the crowd.
But the crowd roared louder than ever less than five minutes later when Payet darted into the Leipzig box, dropped his shoulder and pinged a super shot into the top corner with the outside of his right boot.
Former Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi, currently on loan from Chelsea at Borussia Dortmund, reacted to Payet's stunner on Twitter, writing: 'Merci Dim', followed by multiple heart emojis.
The tie was not yet over and Leipzig piled forward in search of a goal that would put them through.
Their desperation eventually handed Marseille goal No 5 as the hosts sprung forward to score on the counter attack, with Hiroki Sakai rolling the ball into an empty net after Leipzig keeper Peter Gulacsi had gone up for a corner.
