Robert Lewandowski has taken to Instagram to show off the bruising effects of Bayern Munich's battle with Sevilla - and question the referee's decision making.
The Poland striker was left with a severely swollen eye following a clash with Gabriel Mercado on Wednesday night as Bayern drew 0-0 at the Allianz Arena to reach the Champions League semi-finals.
But despite his team's success, Lewandowski remained unimpressed on Thursday as he posted a picture of himself sporting a nasty black eye along with '#nofoul' and a series of confused emojis.
William Collum, who took charge of the second leg in Germany, failed to award Lewandowski a free-kick after he appeared to clash heads with Mercado.
The former Borussia Dortmund man was convinced he had been caught with an elbow by the Argentine, although pictures suggested otherwise.
Lewandowski complained to the official and made an elbow gesture, but his appeal for a second yellow card for the defender fell on deaf ears.
