Aaron Ramsey and Alexandre Lacazette both scored twice as Arsenal beat CSKA Moscow 4-1 in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final on Thursday night.
Ramsey and Ozil were the stars of the show as the Gunners all but secured their place in the semi-finals of the competition.
Here, Sportsmail's KIERAN GILL runs the rule over both sets of players.
Petr Cech - 6.5
Surprise starter because of David Ospina’s injury. Beaten by a brilliant free-kick and kept busier than he have expected.
Hector Bellerin - 7
Tried to support Mesut Ozil on the right wing. Brilliant cross cut back behind the visitors’ defence for Arsenal’s opener.
Shkodran Mustafi - 6
Awful attempt at a clearance before CSKA got their away goal. Perhaps nerves. Looked a little shaky at times.
Laurent Koscielny - 6
Clumsy challenge by the captain to concede free-kick that led to CSKA’s leveller. Visitors were allowed too many chances for comfort.
Nacho Monreal - 7
One of Arsenal’s most consistent performers this season. Gets forward. Combines well with his team-mates. More of the same here.
Aaron Ramsey - 9
Constant threat. Had a goal ruled out for offside then scored a legitimate one. The flicked finish was a work of art. Only woodwork denied him a hat-trick.
Granit Xhaka - 7.5
Returned to the starting line-up. Held back and helped out his defenders while Ramsey joined the attacks. Tidy passing.
Mesut Ozil - 9
Instrumental in all four goals with two lovely assists – three if you include winning the penalty. Pulled the strings. A joy to watch.
Jack Wilshere - 6.5
Started in No 10 position but fluid forward line saw him help out in other areas. The odd careless pass.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan - 7.5
Manchester United’s Europa League hero last year. Frustrated not to have scored a goal of his own. Forced off with injury
Alexandre Lacazette - 8.5
Faced three defenders with a combined age of 108. Two goals will do his confidence a world of good. Missed out on hat-trick.
Substitutes
Alex Iwobi - 6
Danny Welbeck 6
Mohamed Elneny 6
Manager: Arsene Wenger - 8
Arguably Arsenal’s biggest game of the season so far. Away goal was worrying but this scoreline should suit them fine.
Akinfeev 5; V Berezutski 4.5, Ignashevich 4.5, A Berezutski 4.5; Natcho 5; Kuchaev 5.5, Dzagoev 5.5, Golovin 6.5, Schennikov 5; Musa 5.5, Wernbloom 5.5
Substitutes
Santos Vitinho 5.5 (for Dzagoev, 65min)
Georgi Milanov 6 (for Natkho, 74)
Referee: Pavel Kralovec (Cze) 6
Correct call for the penalty. Very few controversies to deal with. Let the game flow.
