Former Newcastle winger Hatem Ben Arfa has confirmed that he will end his frustrating spell at Paris Saint-Germain when his contract expires this summer.
Ben Arfa made 32 appearances for PSG in his first campaign at the Parc des Princes but hasn't played at all this season after falling out with the club's hierarchy.
The 31-year-old took to Instagram to confirm that he will depart PSG at the end of the season.
He wrote: 'Soon the end of my adventure at PSG, despite difficult times, I am happy to have worn this jersey, I will keep wonderful memories with my teammates and through this message I take the opportunity to thank the many supporters .. I will like always this club' #Psg #icicestparis
Ben Arfa doesn't appear too concerned by the situation, however, as, according to France Football, he is thinking about how to celebrate his birthday this week, while also considering whether to give his team-mates pizza in order to further antagonise PSG.
Ben Arfa is renowned for his attitude problems and those issues have been a feature of his time at the French club.
As reported by Get French Football, Ben Arfa told manager Unai Emery that he would never get past the quarter-finals stage of the Champions League after Barcelona's stunning comeback against PSG last year.
In addition, Ben Arfa was known to do imitations of Spaniard Emery's attempts to speak French, while in April 2017 he joked to the Emir of Qatar Al Thani that he was more accessible than President Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
Al-Khelaifi was left humiliated by Ben Arfa's remarks and subsequently ensured that he didn't play for PSG again.
