The DR Congo international got a consolation for the Toffees in their defeat to the Etihad stadium outfit at Goodison Park
Yannick Bolasie scored his first goal of the season in Everton’s 3-1 loss to Manchester City in Saturday’s English Premier League game.
The winger, making his seventh league start this term, got off the mark against Pep Guardiola's men, though was not enough as the Toffees suffered their 14th defeat in the top-flight this term.
City continued their blistering form with an emphatic first-half display against Sam Allardyce’ men.
Leroy Sane opened the scoring for the Etihad Stadium outfit in the fourth minute, with Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling adding the second and third before the interval.
After the break, Bolasie scored a consolation goal in the 63rd minute off Dominic Calvert-Lewin's assist.
The 28-year-old featured for the entire duration of the game while Senegal’s Oumar Niasse replaced Cenk Tosun in the 79th minute.
Despite the defeat, Everton still maintain their ninth spot in the log after garnering 40 points from 32 outings.
The former Crystal Palace player will be looking to continue the fine display when the Toffees play host to archrivals Liverpool in their next league encounter on April 7.
