Racing President Blanco: I hope Lautaro Martinez does similiar to Diego Milito at Inter

Racing Club president Victor Blanco has again confirmed Lautaro Martinez’s transfer to Inter in the summer in an interview with Tuttomercatoweb.com.

“With Inter we closed the deal, everything is fine. I have to compliment Inter. Piero Ausilio did a great job. He came to Argentina to close the deal.”

Blanco proceeded to discuss the kind of player Martinez is.

“He is an above average player here in Argentine, and depending on how he adapts, he has everything to be a great talent. He is like Luis Suarez from Barcelona, a goalscorer.”

“Lautaro has exploded in the last period. Congratulations to him because he believed in us and has always had a great relationship with me. I hope he does similar to Milito at the Nerazzurri.”

Blanco concluded the interview by sharing his thoughts and feelings on how Argentine’s are feeling about Mauro Icardi and Paulo Dybala being snubbed by the national team.

“I do not know why they weren’t called as they are great players. Argentina has many great talents like Icardi, Dybala and Higuain. We are lucky to have so many important players.”
