Estrada Fernandez referee for Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid

The man in the middle of the capital derby has been confirmed as the whistler for the Real Madrid 4 - 0 Alavés and Atlético Madrid 4 - 0 Leganés.

The Catalan referee Xavier Estrada Fernández will be in charge of the Liga game between Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid of matchday 31, on Sunday, April 8 at 16.15 (CEST). This was confirmed on Wednesday by the Spanish Technical Committee of Referees (CTA).

Big wins and adios to the Calderón

An international referee since 2013, Estrada Fernández (born 1976) whistled in recent comfortable wins in the league for both rivals. Los Blancos enjoyed a 4-0 victory over Alavés and the Rojiblancos destroyed Leganés by the same scoreline overseen by the Catalan.
