Agent: Juventus interested in Palermo youngster La Gumina

Juventus’ quest for young talent has taken the Bianconeri to all four corners of Italy, including Sicily, if an agent is to be believed. 

According to a recent interview, the Old Lady has even shown an interest in Palermo striker Antonio La Gumina, 20, who is currently on loan at Ternana, who are in Serie B.

“We’re not thinking of having Ternana join forces with a top club next season,” Leonardo Cornacini told our colleagues over at Tuttomercatoweb, “Juventus have scouted him in the past”.

Cornacini doesn’t sound like he’s in a hurry, however, despite his young client scoring his first ever goal with Ternana two weeks ago against Trapani.

La Gumina played 63 minutes of Serie A action with Palermo last season.

“For now, we’re enjoying the moment, and hope that he stays with Palermo”.  

La Gumina came to prominence in the 2016 Viareggio tournament, where he scored 9 goals in a mere 7 appearances with the Rosanero.
