Brentford close to signing right-back Henrik Dalsgaard

Brentford are close to agreeing a deal to sign Henrik Dalsgaard from Belgian side Zulte Waregem, according to Sky sources.

The Bees have identified right-back as being an area to strengthen this summer and put Dalsgaard top of their targets.

A fee has been agreed of €1.1m (£930,000). There are still other details of the transfer to be agreed.

The 27-year-old is a Denmark international with three caps. He is quick and powerful, good in the air and considered an intelligent attacking outlet as well.

Waregem signed Dalsgaard on a free transfer from Aab Aalborg last summer and he has made 21 appearances and scored four goals in the Belgian Pro league this season.
