Agent: Ricardo Rodriguez likes Napoli

Ricardo Rodriguez’s agent says “Napoli is never a step back”, amid rumours the Wolfsburg defender could move there.

The Swiss international is expected to leave Die Wolfe at the end of the season, with Inter and Milan also linked.

Today his agent spoke to Radio Crc about his client, and seemed enthusiastic about the option of moving to San Paolo.

“He’s focused on Wolfsburg now, [sporting director Cristiano] Giuntoli knows him,” Gianluca Di Domenico confirmed.

“Has there been contact? I’d prefer not to say. He’s been on holiday in Naples and very much enjoyed it, so if you like somewhere on holiday then logically you could also live there.

“Napoli is never a step back, and in 95 per cent of cases it represents a step forward.”
