OFFICIAL: WAIT IS OVER! Barca returns to Camp Nou against Bilbao

FC Barcelona have officially announced that the team will return to the Camp Nou for their La Liga match against Athletic Bilbao on 22 November, in the 13th round of the season. This marks the club's return to their home ground after an absence of two and a half years.

The Camp Nou refurbishment project commenced in 2022, aiming to upgrade this historic stadium into a modern football venue. The works encompassed increasing spectator capacity, replacing the pitch turf, enhancing stadium infrastructure, and optimising the fan experience.

On 29 May 2023, Barcelona secured a 3-0 home victory against Mallorca. This match marked the club's final use of Camp Nou as their home ground prior to the refurbishment.
