OFFICIAL: Real Madrid's appeal regarding Huijsen's yellow card is dismissed

On 12 November local time, the Spanish Football Association's disciplinary committee rejected Real Madrid's appeal against the yellow card shown to Huijsen in the previous match.
La Liga Matchday 12 saw Real Madrid draw 0-0 away to Rayo Vallecano. In the 35th minute, Huijsen tackled Álvaro García on the flank, causing the latter to fall to the ground in pain. The referee promptly showed Heisen a yellow card.
Slow-motion replays revealed that Heisen had indeed not made contact with the ball. The opposing player had executed a protective jump in advance, and there was minimal physical contact between the two players.
