Reece James’ rule: Chelsea players enter tunnel as a unit at halftime

According to the latest report from the DailyMail, Reece James has demonstrated excellent leadership, and he has also established some new rules within the team, such as players gathering together and walking into the player tunnel after half-time.

According to reports, Chelsea insiders said that during Reece James' period of good health, his performance has shown positive changes. In the middle of last season, Enzo Maresca once criticized the player for lacking leadership, and he also struggled to fulfill the role of captain when he was unable to play due to a recurrence of his hamstring injury. 

Now, Reece James has demonstrated a newfound confidence and growing authority, thanks to his consistent presence in the dressing room at Cobham Training Ground and Stamford Bridge.

For example, in the past few weeks, he has started to implement a new rule among Chelsea players - after the half-time whistle, teammates are no longer allowed to walk into the player tunnel in groups or alone. 

Reece James asked them to gather together and then walk into the tunnel together, believing it was important as it demonstrated their team spirit. However, Reece James didn't think everything could be achieved by his own efforts alone.

He hopes that others will also set high standards, which Chelsea calls the "Leading Group". Previously, Bettinelli was a core member of this group, but the 33-year-old goalkeeper transferred to Manchester City this summer. 

Now, under the guidance of Maresca, Reece James has the support of three senior players, Adarabioyo, Enzo Fernández, and Caicedo.

A Chelsea insider described Reece James as a "fighter", believing that he is a winner who will show his passion whenever needed, whether on the pitch or in the dressing room.
