FC Dallas will aim for back-to-back MLS home wins for the first time this season when they host Los Angeles FC at Toyota Stadium on Saturday.
The Toros currently sit three points outside the Western Conference playoff line after a 1-1 draw with Austin FC, while LAFC remain in fifth place following a 2-0 victory over the New England Revolution last weekend.
Dallas have recorded just three home wins so far, the joint-fewest in the Western Conference.
Last time the two sides met in July, LAFC ran out 2-0 winners, but Dallas overcame Saturday’s opponents 3-1 in this exact fixture last year.

However, since Son Heung-min's arrival, LAFC remain unbeaten in all three of their games across all competitions.
"Son's addition has helped, certainly from my perspective, in linking up plays and keeping the fluidity of the game going," team-mate Mark Delgado said of the South Korean.
"He makes great runs in-behind as well, and he's always looking to be an option and help out.
"I think before Son, we had lots of appearances, but I think we were very much up and down, but I think the addition of Son is just going to bring everything together.
"His first game against Chicago, he came in and brought a lot of energy, brought in quality, and now today, again, he's working really hard, covering ground, and staying connected to the group. He's that missing piece we've been looking for."

FC Dallas – Petar Musa
Musa taken MLS by storm, racking up 37 goal involvements in just 53 appearances for the club following his move from Benfica in 2024.
The Croatian has found the back of the net in 13 instances this term, and is currently Dallas' leading goalscorer.
Los Angeles FC – Son Heung-min
After spending 10 years with Tottenham in London, Son made the move across the Atlantic and registered his first assist for Los Angeles FC on Saturday.
He became the seventh Korean player to provide an assist in MLS and the second to do so for LAFC, following Kim Moon-Hwan in 2021.
MATCH PREDICTION: LOS ANGELES FC
The home team has won each of the last seven meetings between Dallas and LAFC. Los Angeles last won in Dallas in 2021, which was the only season in which one team swept the season series.
Steve Cherundolo's side did, however, extend their unbeaten away streak to seven games (W2 D5) with a win over the Revolution. It is tied for the longest road unbeaten streak in MLS this season with the Vancouver Whitecaps and New England and equals the team's longest regular-season streak.
Dallas, though, have been excellent at Toyota Stadium. They have won two of their last three home MLS matches after winning just one of their first 10 home games in 2025. Coming off a 2-0 win over Portland, Dallas are looking to win consecutive MLS home games for the first time since a three-game winning streak in July 2024.
