RB Leipzig vs. Borussia Dortmund: Probable line-ups & stats

Last season's Bundesliga runners-up RB Leipzig entertain top-four rivals Borussia Dortmund in Saturday's headline fixture (kick-off: 18:30CET/17:30GMT/12:30ET).

Latest

Leipzig dropped to sixth last weekend after losing 2-1 at home to bottom side Cologne. RBL are still only a point outside the top four, but the result was in keeping with a hot-and-cold run of form which has seen Ralph Hasenhüttl's men take 10 points from seven Bundesliga matches in 2018. The absence of injured midfielder Naby Keita isn't helping matters, but Emil Forsberg - last season's top assist provider - is back to full fitness and should continue in midfield after making his first start since early December on Matchday 24. Ademola Lookman and Jean-Kevin Augustin are expected to make way for Yussuf Poulsen and Timo Werner.

Marco Reus scored again for Dortmund on Monday night. It was the Germany star's second goal in three Bundesliga matches since making his return from a serious ankle injury, but was only enough for a point against Augsburg. Andre Schürrle and Mario Götze were both involved in Reus' opener at the Signal Iduna Park, the in-form trio restricting USA international Christian Pulisic to a second successive substitute appearance. Midfielders Gonzalo Castro and Mahmoud Dahoud are on standby, should another rejuvenated member of Peter Stöger's BVB cast, Shinji Kagawa, miss out again with a niggling foot problem.
