West Ham's Hernandez and Antonio team up with Ninjas in Pyjamas CS

West Ham stars Michail Antonio and Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez teamed up with the CounterStrike: Global Offensive team of esports organisation Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) for a couple of fun videos as part of the Betway Insider Esports Challenge.

NiP are a team of professional video game players who compete around the world in shooting game, CS:GO.  They have won IEM Oakland, one of CS:GO’s most prestigious tournaments, two years running, earning almost £2million prize money in the process.

The footballers previously changed roles as they faced each other 1v1 in CS:GO as NiP's players coached them. The Mexican forward was the clear winner in that exchange, showing incredible accuracy considering he had apparently never played a game on PC before. Now it was the NiP's players turn to take action as they competed in a CS:GO themed football challenge.

CS:GO is all about the accuracy of player's shooting but this time NiP were aiming with footballs instead of guns. They warmed up with a few penalties although William 'draken' Sundin (draken being his gaming nickname) looked rather sheepish in goal - trying not to injure his hands which are crucial to his playing career as he plays with a mouse and keyboard.

Antonio then stepped in to save a penalty but he stood no chance as Patrik 'f0rest' Lindberg smashed the ball home into the far corner. That was the early sign that yet another challenge wouldn't go Antonio's way.

Cardboard cutouts of different West Ham and NiP players were laid out with Paulo Zabaleta sitting at the back as the most valuable target - worth 20 points. f0rest was obviously still confident after his stunning penalty and aimed for Zabaleta straight away.

He was right on the money, making sure his gamble paid off. His teammate Hernandez however, decided to play it safe and only went for the target worth five points. It was looking bad for Antonio from the get go as both he and his teammate Christopher 'GeT_RiGhT' Alesund missed their first shots.

Although, Antonio did bring 10 points back - hitting the replica of f0rest after GeT_RiGhT requested him to do so. GeT_RiGhT then also managed to hit Zabaleta to tie-up the game.

But yet again f0rest was on fire and picked up another 20 points. With their substantial lead, Chicharito offered extra points to his opponents if either of them could hit one of the cut-outs in the face.

Unfortuantely for Antonio he scuffed his shot miles away while GeT_RiGhT was also off target - giving f0rest and Chicharito picked up another win with a score of 55-30.
