Al-Hilal came from behind twice to earn a last-gasp 4-3 victory over Al-Fateh, with Aleksandar Mitrovic's late brace securing all three points.
Sofiane Bendebka scored twice in the first 24 minutes to give the hosts a 2-0 lead at the Al-Fateh Club Stadium, heading in Ahmed Al Julaydan and Hussain Qasim's crosses.
Al-Hilal fought back after the break, getting their reward in the 50th minute as Nasser Al Dawsari turned in from close range.
Salem Al Dawsari then pulled the visitors level on the hour, but after Mitrovic struck the post shortly after, Mourad Batna put Al-Fateh back in front in the 82nd minute.
Just three minutes later, Mitrovic pulled Al-Hilal level once again as he nodded in Salem Al Dawsari's cross. The former Fulham striker then found the winner in the second minute of stoppage time to complete the comeback.
Al-Hilal remain second with two games remaining, while Al-Fateh sit in 13th.

Elsewhere, Al-Nassr, who were without Cristiano Ronaldo, were held to a 1-1 draw with Al-Taawoun later on Friday, as they failed to find a late winner despite heavy pressure.
Al-Nassr dominated from the off and came closest to breaking the deadlock shortly after the half-hour mark, with Sadio Mane striking the woodwork.
Their pressure paid off just six minutes into the second half as Otavio nodded the hosts in front from Abdulmajeed Al Sulayhim's delivery.
Al-Taawoun flipped the momentum after that and got their reward in the 70th minute as Roger Martinez equalised.
Al-Nassr pushed for a late winner, with Mane seeing a stoppage-time effort cleared off the line as they remain fourth in the table.
