'Sexy with or without water!' - Pique flirts with Shakira on Twitter

The Spain international sent out a cheeky reply to his girlfriend's post on social media, showing his flirty side off to the world

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has done what many men fear doing - declaring his affection in front of the world, via a flirty Twitter update.

The 29-year-old has been dating Colombian pop star Shakira since 2010, having met when he featured in her music video for the World Cup in South Africa.

Pique replied to a short clip of his significant other appearing in a new video, which was captioned "Recipe for sexiness: Just add water."

The Spain defender cheekily replied "Sexy with or without water!" as he openly flirted with her in front of his 13.5 million followers.

The couple have two sons Milan and Sasha, and Shakira regularly appears on Pique's timeline as well as at sporting events with him.

After the 2015 Copa del Rey victory over Athletic Bilbao, they staged a photo shoot on the pitch where the couple embraced alongside the trophy.

Similarly, they have also been pictured supporting Barcelona's basketball team, as well as at international matches and other major functions.

An 84-time Spain international, Pique is a World Cup and European Championship winner with his country, as well as a Premier League winner and six time La Liga champion.

Shakira's successes are no less than that of her partner, selling over 70 million records, and being named as the 58th most powerful woman in the world by Forbes.
