Gustavo Gomez pushing for Milan exit

The situation between Milan and Gustavo Gomez could turn ugly, as the defender is determined to push through a Boca Juniors move.

The 24-year-old Paraguay international was bought from Lanus in the summer of 2016 for €8.5m, but has barely featured at San Siro.

This season he has been given precisely one appearance, for 10 minutes in the Europa League.

Despite that, Milan are determined not to sell him for less than €6m and Boca Juniors won’t meet that valuation.

According to Tuttosport, Gomez might try to take the situation into his own hands by refusing to attend training sessions.

The negotiations continue to break down and resume, but seem a long way off a successful conclusion.
