PSG attempt to lure Joshua Kimmich from Bayern Munich as part of Nordi Mukiele deal

According to L’Équipe, Bayern Munich’s negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain for Nordi Mukiele (26) have allowed Les Parisiens to sound out the availability of Joshua Kimmich (28).
Bayern have made a loan offer for Mukiele with a purchase option thought to price the right-back at €25 million. However, PSG would prefer not to lose their defender without an adequate replacement lined up in January because of Achraf Hakimi’s (25) extended absence due to the Africa Cup of Nations.
Les Parisiens covet the Bayern midfielder who can also play in the right-back position, and want to try and include Kimmich in the deal. They believe he could be a considerable addition to their midfield, while also providing temporary cover while Hakimi’s away.
Kimmich has not yet made his intentions about a transfer to PSG clear but has reportedly spoken previously about wanting to play abroad before the end of his career. This has led to some speculation from the Spanish press about Real Madrid considering making a move for the player in the Summer.
However, L’Équipe believes PSG’s attempt to lure Kimmich to the French capital has very little chance of succeeding in this window. It’s unclear how happy Bayern would be to lose one of their key midfielders during the middle of the season.
