Stoke want to bring Bojan back from his Alaves loan

The 2017/18 season has not gone well so far for Stoke City or for Bojan, and a reunion is now potentially on the cards.

The striker has spent the start of the campaign on loan at Alaves, but he has started just three league matches so far.

Now, his Premier League parent club - who are in the relegation zone and who just sacked Mark Hughes - are keen to bring him back to England, where is liked by the Potters' fans and where he was their second top scorer in the 2015/16 season.

Even though a replacement for Hughes has yet to be announced, Stoke and Alaves have already been in contact to discuss the possibility of ending the player's loan half a season early.

The player will have the final say, but Alaves might not mind losing the former Barcelona star, given that they just signed John Guidetti.
