Carragher ranks Chelsea duo Enzo and Caicedo in comparison to Rice

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has ranked Real Madrid starlet Jude Bellingham in comparison to Arsenal record-signing Declan Rice as well as Chelsea duo Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo.

It has been a crazy few months in the transfer market, with Fernandez joining the Blues in January for a then-Premier League record of £106million. This summer transfer window has been equally as hectic.

Now, Reds hero Carragher has given his verdict on who is the best of the four, opting for the all-action Bellingham. When asked to rank the quartet, the pundit told Sky Sports Premier League’s YouTube channel: "I would put Jude Bellingham as number one.

"Number two I may put Fernandez second, if we see what we saw yesterday (against Liverpool) more often, he looks like a complete midfield player. I would go with Declan Rice next and I would go fourth Caicedo, who I am a huge fan of, but I would put him fourth on this list."

Another young midfielder that is close to joining Chelsea this summer is Romeo Lavia of Southampton. football.london understands that a medical has been arranged for the 19-year-old in a deal that could rise to £58million with add-ons.
