PSG have reportedly been handed a significant boost in their attempts to sign Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani.
The French forward enjoyed a fruitful maiden season in the Bundesliga, netting 15 times across 32 appearances to finish third in the league's scoring charts.
According to a report from Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports Germany the France international could be set to depart the club after just a single season at the Waldstadion.
According to that report, Muani has agreed in principle to join Ligue 1 champions PSG, with a verbal agreement in place between the two parties.
However, a price for the 24-year-old has not yet been agreed, with Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krosche said to be determined that the former Nantes star will not leave this summer unless PSG meets their £86million asking price.
Muani joined Frankfurt from Nantes on a free transfer last summer, and quickly received his first international call up.
Didier Deschamps named Muani as part of his squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, and the forward netted in France's semi-final triumph against Morocco before scoring in the penalty shootout in their final defeat to Argentina.
Muani's solid form last season caught the attention of Erik ten Hag, with Manchester United considering a move for him before turning to a move for Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund.
PSG meanwhile are looking to bolster their attacking options in a summer that has seen Lionel Messi depart club with Kylian Mbappe's future still uncertain with his contract due to expire in just twelve months.
Christophe Galtier was reportedly interested in signing Napoli star Victor Osimhen following the forward's sensational season in Serie A.
However, the Ligue 1 champions are said to have turned their attention to Muani after being unwilling to meet Napoli's asking price for their star striker.
