PSG’s El Chadaille Bitshiabu travels to Leipzig for talks

According to Sky Sports Germany journalist Philipp Hinze, Paris Saint-Germain centre-back El Chadaille Bitshiabu (18) has travelled to Germany for talks with Red Bull Leipzig.

Bitshiabu has long since been linked with a move to the Bundesliga. According to Foot Mercato, Eintracht Frankfurt view the young centre-back as a potential replacement for Evan Ndicka, who left the club on a free to join AS Roma. However, according to Sky Sports, Bitshiabu travelled to Leipzig on Thursday.

The PSG academy product, who has just one year remaining on his contract with Les Parisiens, visited RB Leipzig’s club ground. The player and his family were spotted at the airport and was in talks with the German club, who will be in the market for a replacement for Josko Gvardiol, who looks highly likely to depart Leipzig this summer.

There is yet to be an agreement for a transfer, although the player, and of course Leipzig, are interested in making the move a reality.  However, they will also have to convince PSG, who according to L’Équipe, are keen to extend Bitshiabu’s current deal.
