Santacroce urges Napoli to 'immediately' renew Spalletti

Former Napoli defender Fabiano Santacroce is keen to see coach Luciano Spalletti renew his contract.

Santacroce is delighted seeing Napoli runaway leaders in Serie A.

He told TMW Radio: "I hope they renew immediately with Spalletti because he has done an incredible job and deserves everything.

"The team is crazy and can put many European teams, if not all, have difficulty. The city expects a lot and is already ready to party for the championship. I think they also expect something from the Champions League.

"I don't know about the transfer market, but the director has shown that he is very good, starting big so I wouldn't see too many problems."
