Manchester City are reportedly interested in Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar, with the Italian club 'battling' to keep hold of the 27-year-old.
According to 90min, Skriniar - whose contract expires at the end of the season - is being linked with a move to the Premier League, with City one of many sides interested in the player. The report states that the Blues are huge admirers of Skriniar and have been in contact with his representatives in recent weeks to assess his situation.
It is thought that the Slovak was close to a move to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window, but a deal failed to materialise. The French giants are still interested in the defender, but his agents are also aware of the interest he is generating elsewhere.
Skriniar, who has made more than 200 appearances for Inter during his time at the San Siro, is able to sign a pre-contract agreement with an overseas club in January.
Elsewhere, journalist Alan Nixon is reporting that Premier League sides Leicester City and Wolves have joined Everton in the race for City loanee Taylor Harwood-Bellis.
The defender, who is currently on loan with Burnley in the Championship, has become a vital part of Vincent Kompany's side this season, with the centre-back impressing at the heart of the defence.
It remains to be seen whether Harwood-Bellis will be part of Pep Guardiola's plans next campaign, with the Blues boasting several options at centre-back with Nathan Ake, Aymeric Laporte, Ruben Dias, John Stones and Manuel Akanji all part of the first-team squad.
Everton are thought to be keen on the 20-year-old, but Wolves and Leicester are also said to be interested as they look to strengthen their defences next summer.
