Just hours after Toronto FC lifted the MLS Cup, the league's trade window opened for a half-day in anticipation of the MLS Expansion Draft, leading to a flury of early movement, while clubs have continued to make waves with blockbuster deals.

RAPIDS ACQUIRE McBEAN FROM GALAXY

Dec. 14: The Seattle Sounders dealt $50,000 in general allocation money to the Columbus Crew in exchange for Waylon Francis.

The defender will add depth to a squad that will be without Joevin Jones, who has moved to Darmstadt.

CREW SEND BRAD STUVER TO NYCFC

Dec.14: The Columbus Crew have sent goalkeeper Brad Stuver to New York City FC in exchange for a fourth-round pick in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft.

NYCFC AND SKC WORK OUT SWAP

GALAXY SEND GK TO COLUMBUS

Dec. 13: Columbus made a deal with the LA Galaxy that sees goalkeeper Jon Kempin move to the Crew in exchange for a fourth-round pick in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft.

ATLANTA PULLS OFF BLOCKBUSTER DEAL FOR NAGBE

SPORTING KC ACQUIRE KENWYNE JONES FROM ATLANTA

Dec. 12: In the most interesting and biggest move of the half-day trade window, Sporting KC and Atlanta United worked out a four-player deal that included Kenwyne Jones.

Jones announced his retirement in November , but was part of a deal on Sunday that saw him, along with goalkeeper Alexander Tambakis and a natural fourth-round pick in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft, dealt to Sporting Kansas City in exchange for midfielder Kevin Oliveira, defender Tyler Pasher and Sporting KC’s natural second-round pick in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft.

DYNAMO LAND ARTURO ALVAREZ FROM FIRE

Dec. 12: The Houston Dynamo traded for Arturo Alvarez on Sunday, sending the club's natural second-round pick in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft to the Chicago Fire.

A Houston native who played his international soccer for El Salvador, his parents' birth country, Alvarez is a 12-year MLS veteran who played 25 times for the Fire last season, making 13 starts.

NEW YORK CITY FC TRADES BRILLANT TO D.C. UNITED

Dec. 12: D.C. United has picked up defender Frederic Brillant, sending $75,000 in general allocation money and a 2018 international roster spot to New York City FC in the deal.

Since joining in 2016, Brillant has played 58 times for New York and was a regular in the heart of the club's defense.

ATLANTA TRADES HARRISON HEATH TO MINNESOTA UNITED

Dec. 12: Minnesota United head coach Adrian Heath will be joined at the club by his son, Harrison Heath, after the club pulled off a trade with Atlanta United to land the younger member of the Heath family.

MNUFC sent a 2019 fourth-round draft pick to Atlanta in the deal.

KEI KAMARA DEALT TO VANCOUVER

Dec. 12: Forward Kei Kamara has been traded to the Vancouver Whitecaps from the New England Revolution. Get the full details here .

LAFC LANDS WALKER ZIMMERMAN

Dec. 12: Bob Bradley and company have added another solid piece to their expansion puzzle with a trade for FC Dallas center back Walker Zimmerman. Full details here .

DARREN MATTOCKS TRADED TO D.C. UNITED

Dec. 12: Forward Darren Mattocks has been sent from the Portland Timbers to D.C. United.

United picked up the Jamaican's option for 2018, and sent a 2018 international roster slot to the Timbers in the deal.
