How many UCL trophies have Liverpool & Real Madrid won in their history?

Liverpool and Real Madrid will meet in the 2022 Champions League final and they are two of the most successful clubs in the history of the European Cup and Champions League.

The Spanish side have lifted this trophy more than any other, as Real Madrid have won a total of 13 European Cups, with seven of them coming in the Champions League era.

Liverpool, meanwhile, have won six, with two of them coming after the 1992 reformatting to the Champions League and with four of them coming when it was the European Cup.

Looking at all clubs, Bayern Munich also have six and AC Milan have seven, while no other club has more than five.
