The formal meeting between the owners of Liga MX is yet to happen, but a new report by ESPN's René Tovar indicates that one of the sanctions incurred on the Queretaro team will be to play for at least a year behind closed doors and three more years without it's official "barra brava" allowed in the stadium.

The team would not be disaffiliated as many had predicted before, but these sanctions are a starting point to correct many of the issues that have been part of the Liga MX through the years. The match between Atlas and Queretaro will not be rescheduled, with Atlas being the victor 3-0 over Gallos Blancos.

This of course is not official information, as the assembly of the owners of the first division of the Liga MX has not concluded, but it is expected that the current owners of Queretaro, Greg Taylor, Gabriel Solares, and Manuel Velarde, are to be removed and ownership of the franchise to go back to 'Zolas Deportes y Entretenimiento S. de RL. de CV.' Property of Jorge Alberto Hank Inzunza, also owner of Xolos of Tijuana, but this information is yet to be confirmed.
