Quique Sanchez Flores: Florentino Perez is the best president in Real Madrid's history

Getafe will play Real Madrid at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez on Sunday and the Azulones' coach Quique Sanchez Flores has heaped praise on the LaLiga Santander leaders, including their president Florentino Perez.

The former Real Madrid player explained that he thinks Perez is the best president Los Blancos have ever had.

"Real Madrid have been good all season and have the best youngsters of the league, with several young players who are already starters and who are working well," the Getafe coach said in a pre-match press conference.

"As a club, they always have my respect.

"I think that right now they have the best president of their history, even with how much everybody loved Santiago Bernabeu."

Discussing the potential absences Getafe could have for the game, the coach didn't want to give much away.

"We'll work with the players we have and, even if the players change, the plan won't change," he said, remaining vague.

"Names might change in the line-up, but we're not worried."

As for Real Madrid's COVID-19 cases, Sanchez Flores had his say on their situation too.

"I'm not a virologist and don't know about these things, as we're all learning here," he started.

"With Real Madrid's cases, some situations are still to be clarified.

"Vinicius is confirmed out for then, but Thibaut Courtois had a negative test yesterday.

"We're just thinking about our own players."
