The Bundesliga is currently home to some of the most talented young players in the world.

Jadon Sancho left for Manchester United in the summer, but Borussia Dortmund still have the likes of Erling Haaland and Jude Bellingham for now, while Bayern Munich boast wonderkids like Jamal Musiala.

Unfortunately for the German sides, apart from maybe Bayern, they are at the mercy of teams in the Premier League who can offer exorbitant transfer fees and wages.

Here are 10 players who could move in the Bundesliga in January, with some deals more likely than others...

Erling Haaland (Borussia Dortmund)

Every single elite club in Europe now wants Haaland following his fantastic performances for Dortmund over the past couple of seasons.

His goalscoring is almost unmatched and as a result the Norwegian has been linked to Bayern, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Juventus.

The Premier League sides, simply due to their vast riches, as the favourites to land Haaland.

It remains highly unlikely that Dortmund will sanction a mid-season transfer, but their stance may change if an enormous offer comes in.

Jude Bellingham (Borussia Dortmund)

Haaland is going to fetch Dortmund close to €100m and another player who could potentially earn them even more in the future is Jude Bellingham.

Manchester United actually attempted to sign the England international before he moved to Dortmund and remain interested in bringing him to Old Trafford.

However, now Liverpool and Chelsea have joined the race so he will eventually have a decision to make.

It does seem like Bellingham is happy in Dortmund for the moment, however, so like Haaland, a January move is unlikely.

Axel Witsel (Borussia Dortmund)

A third Dortmund player that has been linked with a transfer away is central midfielder Axel Witsel.

The Belgian hasn't been at his best for BVB in 2021/22 and could be tempted by a lucrative move abroad, with Juventus reportedly interested in taking him to the Allianz Stadium.

All of Juventus' central midfielders are underperforming this campaign, and it seems Massimiliano Allegri fancies bringing in another.

Marcus Thuram (Borussia Monchengladbach)

Marcus Thuram has made a name for himself in Germany, emerging from the shadow of his father, the legendary Lilian Thuram.

His goal contributions prior to the current campaign were excellent, with 21 goals scored and 14 assists recorded in all competitions.

However, his performances have taken a nosedive in 2021/22 as he has zero goals and zero assists, though he has suffered injuries too.

Gladbach may choose to cash in on Thuram while he still has a relatively high reputation.

Brian Brobbey (RB Leipzig)

Brian Brobbey earned rave reviews for his performances with Jong Ajax before eventually making his way into the first team squad.

He would jump ship to RB Leipzig in the summer of 2021, but things haven't worked out for him as of yet in Germany, as he has started just one Bundesliga game so far.

Ajax head coach Eric ten Hag recently expressed an interest in bringing Brobbey back to the Netherlands, so that is one option for the young forward.

Liverpool were also a suitor prior to the RB Leipzig move.

Amadou Haidara (RB Leipzig)

While players often wait until they’ve joined a club before confirming their allegiances, Amadou Haidara has in fact stated in the past that he supports Man Utd and is working towards a move to the club one day.

In an interview with Sport-Bild in 2019, the Mali international stated that he was indeed a fan of the Old Trafford side and would love to play for the club.

“My dream club is Manchester United,” said Haidara in an interview with the German newspapers. “I will fight with all my strength to one day play for that club.”

He worked with current Man Utd boss Ralf Rangnick at RB Leipzig, so this move seems very likely.

Tyler Adams (RB Leipzig)

Arsenal may turn their attention towards RB Leipzig midfielder Tyler Adams in January in a bid to bolster Mikel Arteta’s squad.

According to the Sun, Arsenal may look to do that by targeting Adams in the coming transfer window.

The USMNT player apparently has a minimum-fee release clause of £32.25 million and the club may not be afraid to trigger it if they think he is the right man for the job.

Christopher Nkunku (RB Leipzig)

Plucked from French football as a relatively unknown quantity, Christopher Nkunku has quickly established himself as one of German football’s most versatile attacking players.

And, after two years at the Saxony club, some of Europe’s biggest sides are beginning to take notice.

He has been particularly impressive in the 2021/22 Champions League, as even though RB Leipzig failed to qualify from the group stage, he scored seven goals in six games.

He has been linked with Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Utd and Real Madrid.

Maxence Lacroix (Wolfsburg)

Maxence Lacroix only made the move to Wolfsburg two summers ago, after signing from Sochaux in August 2020.

However, since then Lacroix has gone on to become one of Wolfsburg’s most important players, as they marched to fourth place in the Bundesliga last campaign to qualify for the Champions League.

He previously stated a desire to remain at the club in the summer, but now that they are eliminated from Europe's Premier club competition, he may decide to move on.

Chelsea are desperate for a classy central defender, and he is one of many they are targeting.

Christoph Baumgartner (Hoffenheim)

Man Utd, Liverpool and Bayern are reportedly interested in signing Hoffenheim midfielder Christoph Baumgartner.

Baumgartner is usually deployed behind the striker but can feature in a deeper area in midfield, too, while he has, on occasion, been asked to play on the wing and cut inside into the central area.

After impressing for Hoffenheim II, Baumgartner was promoted to the senior squad and given his first-team debut by Julian Nagelsmann as a half-time substitute in a game against Schalke in May of 2019

He is now a key player for Hoffenheim, but could be available for as little as €18m
