West Ham vs Leicester
Week two of the 2021/22 Premier League campaign will draw to a close on Monday evening.
The final tie of the game week will see West Ham and Leicester City, England’s two Europa League representatives this year, face off at the London Stadium.
Both outfits would begin their Premier League season with wins last time out.
West Ham would come from 2-1 down to smash Newcastle United 4-2, whilst Leicester earned a 1-0 win over Bruno Large’s Wolves.
Rodgers & Moyes provide team news updates
Ahead of Monday evening, David Moyes spoke to the press on Friday.
When doing so, the Scotsman would be asked about team news, and it was a largely positive update from Moyes, with Arthur Masuaku looking like the only concern ahead of Leicester:
“We’ve got one or two knocks and niggles. We’re still trying to get Arthur Masuaku back from a knee problem. Apart from that I think we’re pretty much okay I think.”
Elsewhere, Brendan Rodgers also spoke to the media on Friday and he to would be drawn on injuries.
And the Norther Irishman would go on to confirm that Timothy Castagne would be back available after missing out vs Wolves.
Ryan Bertrand, however, remains absent after testing positive for Covid-19 recently:
“The squad will be about what we had last weekend. Ryan Bertrand won’t be available. It’s mostly the same, but Timothy Castagne will be available.”
Rodgers would also provide an update on the currently sidelined Jonny Evans.
