Barca's 2021/22 fixtures: Who do they play first and last? When is El Clasico?

Barcelona fans can start planning for the 2021/22 season, with the schedule for the new LaLiga Santander season having been drawn by the RFEF on Wednesday.

The Catalan club kick off their new season at home, with a tricky fixture against Real Sociedad. They'll finish the campaign at home too, taking on Villarreal in the final matchday.

When are the Clasicos of the 2021/22 season?

The first Clasico will be held at the Camp Nou, as was also the case last year. That'll take place on the weekend of October 24, in matchday 10. Then, the return game against Real Madrid in the capital will be on the weekend of March 20 in matchday 29.

There will also be a Catalan derby between Barcelona and Espanyol again this year, with the Pericos having won promotion back up to LaLiga Santander. The clash at the Camp Nou will be in matchday 14 on or around November 21 and the game at the RCDE Stadium will be in matchday 24 on or around February 13.
