He hopes to carry the legacy of his father, which won’t be easy.

If you find yourself complaining about trying to make a dent in the universe, spare a thought for young players who have to follow in the footsteps of their successful dads. Devante Cole is the son of Andy Cole, the former Manchester United striker. Like his father, Devante plays as a striker. The 21-year-old came through the youth ranks of Manchester City, but he was disillusioned with the way young English players are treated there. Devante Cole couldn’t find space in the first team, so he left for Bradford and later for Fleetwood Town, the club he currently plays for.

Gheorge Hagi is widely regarded as one of the best Romanian players to ever have graced the game. For many sportsmen, support from family is crucial to their success. Joshua Nascimento is the son of perhaps the greatest footballer of all-time, Pele. I want to get a degree, and continuing to play in the United States gives me the best shot at doing that. ” Joshua Nascimento may not follow in his father’s footsteps, but he is quite talented.

It’s hard to follow in the footsteps of a talented father, especially if he happens to be one of the greatest footballers ever to have graced the game. We’re talking about Enzo Zidane, the son of the French legend Zinedine Zidane. Enzo is a talented 21-year-old lad, currently playing for Real Madrid’s youth team. He has offered some glimpses of brilliance every now and then, but he needs to step up his game if he wants to follow in the footsteps of his father. Enzo Zidane should start playing first team football as soon as possible. Else, he will live in the shadow of his dad.

8. Shaqueel van Persie

Former Arsenal and Manchester United forward Robin Van Persie is widely regarded as one of the finest players of the last decade. The Dutchman joined Turkish Super League side Fenerbahce during the 2015 summer transfer window. Van Persie had brought his son Shaqueel with him, and father and son impressed during Robin’s presentation. Shaqueel van Persie may be only 10-years-old, but he seems to have inherited some of Van Persie’s talent and genius. Shaqueel is following in the footsteps of his father; Robin Van Persie had his son enroll in Fenerbahce youth academy.

Arsenal made it clear they won’t be offering Brooklyn Beckham a professional contract. The 17-year-old is talented, but he has to work hard if he wants to follow in the footsteps of his dad.

Can Christian Maldini become one of the best defenders in the coming years? The 20-year-old is the son of Paolo Maldin, widely regarded as one of the greatest defenders of all time. Christian Maldini seems to be following in the footsteps of his father and also his grandfather, the Italian legend Cesare Maldini who passed away in April 2016. Like his father and grandfather, Christian Maldini plays for AC Milan. He was handed the armband earlier in April in a match against Novara, and he was worn it ever since. The expectations are high, and Christian knows that. He hopes to become an AC Milan legend.
