Roma forward Stephan El Shaarawy will miss both legs against Ajax in the Europa League, as he is out for 15 days with a muscle injury.
El Shaarawy went off the pitch with a muscle problem in the 2-2 draw with Sassuolo on Saturday and Sky Sport Italia reports the verdict after the instrumental tests carried out today.
The forward will miss 15 days due to a muscle injury in his right thigh and thus ruled out of the double fixture against Ajax in the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
The 28-year-old, who returned to the Italian capital in January, has played seven times in Serie A since and has contributed one goal in four games in Europe.
