Media watch: Caceres MVP when Bonucci failed

Martin Caceres was the MVP of Juventus-Fiorentina, according to Italian sports papers, while Juan Cuadrado and Leonardo Bonucci have the lowest ratings.

The Uruguay international, who had played 119 games with the Old Lady, netted Fiorentina’s third goal at the Allianz Stadium on Tuesday and produced an outstanding defensive performance, according to Italian sports papers.

The 33-year-old is rated 8/10 by La Gazzetta dello Sport, 7.5 by Il Corriere dello Sport and 7 by Tuttosport.

Juventus defenders, on the other hand, were everything but perfect.

Juan Cuadrado received a straight red card after 15 minutes, while Leonardo Bonucci was responsible for each one of Fiorentina’s three goals, writes La Gazzetta dello Sport.

A night to forget for the Old Lady who could find themselves 10 points off table leaders Milan if the Rossoneri beat Lazio this evening.
