Tottenham Hotspur left back Danny Rose is attracting interest from Middlesbrough after falling down the pecking order under Jose Mourinho.
The 30-year-old went on loan to Newcastle United in January this year after growing frustrated at his lack of first-team opportunities under the former Chelsea boss, who had taken over from Mauricio Pochettino two months earlier.
The signing of Jose Reguilon from Real Madrid in the recent transfer window means Rose is now third choice in his position behind the Spaniard and Ben Davies.
Rose's Tottenham contract expires in 2021 and he will be looking to put himself in the shop window on Teesside if a loan move transpires, with his future in north London seemingly in the dust.
Middlesbrough are also looking to bring in Baba Rahman from Chelsea on a season-long loan.
The 26-year-old left back, who joined the Blues from Augsburg in the summer of 2015, has made 15 Premier League appearances since his move to England, with all of those coming in his first season in SW6.
Rahman has since enjoyed loan spells at Schalke 04, Reims and Real Mallorca.
The Ghanaian's career has been hampered in a recent years by a cruciate ligament rupture, which kept him out of action for more than seven months in 2017, and a knee injury, which sidelined him for virtually the whole of last season.
Middlesbrough currently lie 10th in the Championship after four games and host second-placed Reading on Saturday.
