The attacker looks back on leading Aston Villa to claim three points on Saturday
Aston Villa winger Albert Adomah is excited to have spurred the Claret and Blue Army to victory in the English Championship on Saturday.
The Ghana attacker was on a brace at Loftus Road Stadium, scoring on 45 and 58 minutes as Steve Bruce's outfit came from behind to claim a 2-1 away win over Queens Park Rangers.
Villa have consequently moved to fifth on the league table.
"We've bounced back from the Sheffield Wednesday game, which is the most important thing," Adomah said, as reported by his club's official website.
"It's always good to score – especially when you get the victory.
"To come from behind and get the win made it a great three points. We showed real character.
"It maybe could have been more, too. I had a few other chances, but that's football sometimes and two was enough to win the game.
"Usually after the international break our performances haven't been so strong – the manager stressed that a lot last week.
"We did pull out a performance on Saturday and there's now no breaks until March, which is good."
Adomah has now tallied seven goals in 10 Championship starts for Villa this season.
And it's indeed some response as his first three league games this campaign were substitute appearances.
The 29-year-old is expected to be handed another start when the Claret and Blue Army host Sunderland on Tuesday.
