Sassuolo winger Boga admits that he is flattered by links with top Serie A sides

Jeremie Boga has admitted that he is ‘flattered’ by links with top Serie A sides but assured Sassuolo he is ‘considering staying’ where he is.

Roma, Napoli, Milan, Inter and Juventus have all been tipped to make moves for Boga, who has enjoyed a breakout season with Sassuolo this season.

However, the winger told RMC Sport: “I’m considering staying at Sassuolo. I spoke to De Zerbi and we’ll see what happens further down the line.

“Right now, I’m a Sassuolo player. I’ve seen my name linked with some of the best Italian clubs and that flatters me.

“When I hear about Roma, Napoli, Milan, Inter and Juventus, it’s always a pleasure for me.

“However, right now I’m just thinking about ending the season in this [Sassuolo] jersey and in the best possible way.

“I’m focused on the team’s objectives. After that, we’ll see what happens for next season.”

Chelsea recently swapped their €8m buyback option for the 24-year-old with a first option in the event the Neroverdi decide to sell him.
